Day
1 - Nairobi/Tree Hotel
Afternoon drive to Mt Kenya/Aberdares for a Tree Hotel
or lodge overlooking floodlit waterholes frequented
by wildlife.
Day 2 - Tree/Hotel/Samburu
Continue north across the different scenery and wildlife
including Northern Frontier. Lunch then a gamedrive
Day 3 – Samburu
Full day to enjoy the different scenery and wildlife
including Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe.
Day 4- Samburu/Mt Kenya Safari club
Early gamedrive then drive to the Mt Kenya Safari Club
to enjoy the facilities or take an optional tour to
the nearby Sweetwaters Reserve or Mt Kenya
Day 5 Mt Kenya Safari club/lake Baringo
Morning drive via Nyahururu Falls down to LakeBogoria.
Later drive to the beautiful lakeBaringo. Evening bird
walk. Accommodation at a lodge.
Day 6 - Baringo/Lake Nakuru
Morning boat ride on the lake. Lunch, then drive along
the floor of the Rift Valley to LakeNakuru. Evening
gamedrive in the home of millions of flamingoes and
over 400 species of other birds. Dinner and overnight
in a lodge.
Day 7 - Nakuru/Maasai Mara
Morning drive across the Rift Valley down to the Maasai
Mara. Lunch and later an afternoon gamedrive. Dinner
and overnight at a lodge.
Day 8/9 - Maasai Mara
Two full days experiencing the Mara magic in the Kenya’s
premier reserve that is an extension of Serengeti National
Park in Tanzania. The Mara reserve is the most popular
in Kenya and it owes this to the astounding concentration
of game within the park all the year round with the
Wildebeest migration mainly in July and August. A visit
to the Maasai village can be arranged at an extra cost
for those who are interested. Overnight as above.
Day 10 - Maasai Mara/Nairobi
Early morning game drive then return to Nairobi
